Omaha Housing Authority - All But 1 Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) last accepted Public Housing waiting list applications from August 17, 2021, until June 1, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Displaced by government  action or disasterFamilies displaced by government action, condemnation, or disaster (fire, flood, storm, or natural disaster that is not due to the fault or negligence of the applicant or a household member.)
• Working/elderly/disabledPerson or families with at least one household member who is 62 years of age or older, disabled, or works a minimum of 28 hours week for at least 6 months prior to submitting the application.

Selection Process

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.

Application Method

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
