Plumas County Community Development Commission and Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Plumas County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals.This housing authority manages public housing for four counties:  Plumas, Lassen, Tehama, and Sierra. 1. Valley Heights: 530-283-4119, 1374 Peppard Flat Road, Quincy, CA 959712. Green Meadows: 530-284-6800,152 Green Meadows Lane, Greenville, CA 959473. Sierra Meados: 530-258-4212, 460 Melissa Ave., Chester, CA 960204. Pine Meadows: 530-258-3223, 616 Pearl Rd., P.O. Box 1836, Chester, CA 960205. Wildwood Village: (Elderly/Disabled) 530-258-3350, Meadowbrook Loop, Chester, CATo apply for public housing you must pick up an application at one of the communities listed above.Once you have completed the application, it must be hand delivered to the community where you picked it up.This Housing Authority does go by a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list as: working, disabled, elderly, displaced, veteran, or a resident in any of the 4 counties.More information can be found on their website at: http://www.plumascdc.org/, or the housing authority can be reached by calling the central office at 530-283-2466, during normal office hours.
