Lee County, Iowa Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Fort Madison Housing Authority (FMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from June 10, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. CT, until further notice. It was last open in November, 2016.

Please note: Affordable Housing Online has tried to verify with the FMHA if this waiting list is still open, but representatives are withholding this information. It is possible that this waiting list is now closed.

To apply during the opening period, complete an application in person at the Fort Madison Housing Authority office, 1102 48th St., Fort Madison, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The office closes at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.(closed at noon on Wednesday).

The waiting list has the following preferences:

• Reside in the city limits of Fort Madison

• Reside in Lee County

• Reside in a 75 mile radius

• Reside beyond 75 mile radius
