Norfolk, Virginia Limited Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications on a limited basis from March 11, 2024, until March 18, 2024. There is no notice when the waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the NRHA, "Applications will be accepted during this open waitlist period for those who meet the following criteria: Non-senior applicants with disabilities who are transitioning out of institutional or other separated settings, are in serious risk of institutionalization or being homeless or are homeless."

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
