I’m Keith and I run The Muscle Mentorship. I help teenagers gain muscle, strength, and confidence, without taking extreme measures.
20+ years ago, I was a scrawny, weak, and awkward teenager, probably similar to how your son may be now. But deep inside, I had this desire for change—to become bigger, stronger, and more confident. Little did I know that this desire would set me on a path that would shape my entire life.
Through the power of weight training and a focus on nutrition, I experienced a remarkable transformation. It was a slow and steady process, but each day, each workout, brought me closer to my goals. As I developed physically, something even more incredible happened — I started to cultivate an inner strength and confidence from within. The journey to a stronger physique became a catalyst for personal growth and empowerment that went far beyond the weights I was lifting.
What started as a personal endeavor soon turned into a professional passion. I immersed myself in the world of fitness, studying the science behind muscle-building, nutrition, and exercise programming. Now, my professional credentials include:
-Master of Science – Applied Nutrition
-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist – National Strength & Conditioning Association
-Certified Sports Nutritionist – International Society of Sports Nutrition
I’ve worked with well over 100 different clients on a wide array of health and fitness goals over the past decade, through my nutrition coaching company, 3S Nutrition. I also currently work to educate the next generation as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Nutrition at Grand Canyon University.
But, when I reflect on the one type of client that I enjoy working with most, the one client that always seems to make the most progress, it becomes very clear: It’s the guys that remind me of myself when I was their age. Seeing them embark on a potentially life-changing path of personal development resonates deeply with me. It’s the reason why my personal passion became a professional pursuit, and the origin of The Muscle Mentorship.
Now, my mission is clear—to empower and help teenage guys just like me unlock their own potential. I know firsthand the struggles and insecurities that come with being a teenager, and I believe that building muscle and strength can be a transformative journey. It's about more than just physical changes; it's about unleashing untapped potential and fostering a deep sense of confidence that spills over into every aspect of life.
