Scott is a dynamic and thoughtful certified yoga teacher who views yoga as a personal tool for the mind, even during an athletic practice. He helps clients explore alignment, technique, and breath work to build a yoga practice that will meet their fitness and wellness goals, and will serve them as a longevity practice over time. Moreover, as a social worker and psychotherapist with training in trauma-informed yoga, Scott is keenly interested in the psychological and emotional benefits of yoga. Over twenty years ago, Scott began doing yoga as a physical endeavor. Now, Scott also views his yoga as a meditation—an opportunity to bring the self into the here and now.
Private sessions with Scott are a guided exploration of yoga postures, sequences, and breath work. There will be time to stretch, time to sweat, time to ask questions, and time for self-investigation through yoga—all to instigate a mind-body connection.
